Ouistreham a vibré aux sons des V8 pendant 3 jours, du 25 septembre 2020 au 27 septembre 2020.
Le vendredi, tout l'après midi, sur la Place de l’Hôtel de Ville de Ouistreham se déroule le contrôle des véhicules qui participent à la Beach Race. Toutes les voitures doivent être pré-1949 et les motos doivent être pré-1947. Toutes les marques et types sont autorisés, entre autre, les véhicules en provenance des USA, d'Europe et d'autres continents.
Samedi et dimanche, il y a le "Car show" qui est une exposition de plus de 350 hot rods, kustoms et muscles cars sur le front de mer de la plage Riva-Bella.
La Beach Race : Qu'est que c'est ? La Beach Race " course de plage " consiste en une course de runs 1 contre 1 sur une distance de 200 mètres sur la plage sans chronométrage, avec plus de 80 hot rods et motos en compétition.
Le dimanche soir l'équipe de la Normandy Beach Race propose l'opération Plage Propre. La plage est ouverte à tous pour un nettoyage collectif. De cette façon, il ne reste aucunes traces du week end sur cette belle plage de Normandie.
Mon ressenti sur la NBR : c'est un évènement vraiment top avec la partie du "Car Show" ou j'ai pu voir des hot rods et des kustoms qu'on ne voit qu'à la NBR.
Il y a une belle ambiance grâce à la diffusion de musiques des année 40 et 50. Les participants et les visiteurs jouent le jeu en adoptant le style vintage. On peut voir de belles Pin up. c'est un évènement intergénérationnel des spectateurs et participants qui sont des nostalgiques des années 40 et 50. Je conseille vraiment de cette évènement.
